Lucy Lawless responds to Xena costar Kevin Sorbos Capitol attack conspiracy theory

Last Wednesday’s domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol by Trump supporters left the country and world gripped in a sort of waking horror. Actor Kevin Sorbo decided to show his ass and tweet conspiracies about the rioters at the Capitol. Sorbo tweeted a picture of the traitors, stating “they don’t look like patriots.” And in another tweet Kevin claimed that the insurrectionists were Antifa. Kevin also retweeted a false claim that the violent mob were “leftist” agitators.

Kevin’s former costar, warrior princess Lucy Lawless, couldn’t let this lie stand. Her clapback was akin to her one two punch on Xena. I cackled out loud when she called Kevin “peanut” in her response. Lucy also called those storming the Capitol exactly what they were, “homegrown QAnon domestic terrorists.” Here is the exchange below:

No, Peanut. They are not Patriots. They are your flying monkeys, homegrown terrorists, QAnon actors. They are the douchebags that go out and do the evil bidding of people like you who like to wind them up like toys and let them do their worst. #keepingYourFilthyHandsclean #enabler

ANTIFA led the charge into the capitol building dressed as Trump supporters.

Lucy just stated the obvious which was confirmed by the idiots storming the Capitol themselves. Many of the rioters live streamed their sedition and some went as far as posting pictures of themselves in Nancy Pelosi’s office, taking Nancy’s lectern, hanging a noose while calling for Mike Pence and bursting through windows inside the Capitol. Saying otherwise can no longer be chalked up as being ignorant, at this point if you support the Republican party, you are part of the problem.

With that being said, people supported Lucy’s tweet by retweeting her with their comments. So far Lucy’s response to Kevin has had over 14k retweets, which saw Lucy trend on Twitter. Below are a few of the responses:
