In a 2002 episode of The King of Queens titled Shrink Wrap, his character Arthur’s father Jerry Spooner was played by his real-life son, Ben Stiller.

His role as the neurotic Frank Costanza on Seinfeld earned him an Emmy Award nomination for ‘Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series’ in 1997. Furthermore, Stiller won the American Comedy Award for ‘Funniest Male Guest Appearance in a TV Series’ in 1998 for the same show.

Co-incidentally, the series finale episodes of two of his most popular sitcoms, Seinfeld and The King of Queens aired on the same date i.e., on May 14th in 1998 and 2007 respectively.
