If you’re a Vampire Diaries fan and most importantly, a Klaroline fan… The season five premiere of ‘The Originals’ is a must-watch! Candice King will be reprising her role as Caroline Forbes during the first episode.
There is currently no information about why Caroline will be in the premiere and possibly (hopefully) coming back into Klaus’ life; or whether she’ll be making more than one appearance; however, we’re very much on board with it either way. It’s possible that she’ll be taking a trip to New Orleans to visit the Mikaelsons; or, more likely, that her appearance will take place at the boarding school, where Hope has just been enrolled.
Klaus and Caroline have always had such a precious bond; even though both have had other partners, they both still hold on to one another; Klaus made a very good point of that in The Vampire Diaries when he said “He’s your first love. I intend to be your last, however long it takes.” Seems like it’s not going to be that much of a long wait!
When The Vampire Diaries ended; Caroline was last seen rebuilding her life prior to Stefan’s death and found her purpose with running the Salvatore Boarding School with her ex, Alaric. Caroline also received a letter during the final episode from Klaus, who had funded the boarding school; indicating that he still has strong feelings for her and will do absolutely anything to keep her happy. The very famous Klaus line ‘however long it takes’ was used in the letter when he ended it with “I do look forward to thanking you in person someday. However long it takes. Yours, Klaus.” Another interesting part of TVD season finale is when Alaric says as Caroline is reading the letter “But that’s another story.”
